On September 17, Innopolis hosted the Innopolis Meetup: AI First — a one-day conference dedicated to applying AI technologies in business.

The event brought together top managers of Russian companies. The program opened with Oksana Khlystova, Program Director at MWS AI, who spoke about corporate transformation through AI. Viktoria Efimova, Product Owner of the GenAI Platform at Severstal, shared the company’s experience. Maxim Pavlov, Head of AI at X5 Tech, presented cases from the retail sector. The final keynote was delivered by Ramil Kuleev, Director of the AI Institute at Innopolis University, who emphasized science-intensive AI solutions as a competitive advantage.

The event concluded with a panel discussion and a Q&A session, moderated by Andrey Kuznetsov, Head of the Joint Laboratory for Multimodal Research in Industry at Innopolis University and AIRI.

The meetup gathered more than 200 participants who gained fresh insights, practical AI cases, and new business connections.
